PAINTED VESSELS
These pieces are a few of the products of an exciting collaboration with ceramic artist Stephen Procter. We work from a similar place, hoping to gesture toward a mystical presence within a beautiful form.
These primal forms in three dimensionsopened up a wondrous new world for me -- any element in a painting can have a unique relationship with any other element, none barred from reaching another since the substrate is a continuum.
The parameters of this website don't allow more than one image per artwork, as well as being fairly low resolution. I've made composite photos to show various views of the pieces. Please contact me if there are pieces you are interested in and would like better images of.
6/21 Note: Some of these are sold. Please contact me if you are interested in seeing more and/or prices. Stephen has many pieces in Brattleboro; his website shows some.
