I’m inspired by the massive changes now pervading our society, regarding our interconnectedness and also womens’ autonomy. In this piece the winged deity flanked by owls on a famous ancient Mesopotamian plaque has left her formal attitude projecting power, and relaxes, fully assured of her power within. Her owl familiars have also relaxed.
